In addition to sports activities, the CUS organises university parties such as Moving People and cultural events such as Visual Mapping.

The Mantua Campus of the Politecnico di Milano encourages and supports student cultural initiatives. Among these, some of the initiatives that have had the most response from Campus students were the Facewall Night event, as part of Creative Mantua, and the study trip to Tuscany, organised as a teaching supplement to the optional Renaissance history course of the Master of Science programme.

Facewall Night had the need to explain Visual Mapping to Mantua Regional Campus students. This art form is very close to architecture in which it finds a white screen on which to project images of any kind. Specifically, the video presented on Campus illustrated the 150 years of the Politecnico through the people that characterise its past and present, projecting itself into the future.

On the other hand, the trip to Tuscany allowed many students to visit the monuments of several cities, including Orvieto, Pienza and other places in Chianti, all illustrated by highly qualified teaching staff.

These initiatives are designed to support the aggregation and personal initiative of Campus students.
