The Mantua Regional Campus is the local point of reference for research which the Politecnico carries out with its 12 departments and 130 laboratories, concerning the fields of architecture, engineering and design, particularly in the fields of energy, transport, planning, management, mathematics and applied natural science, ICT, the built environment and cultural heritage.

In particular, in the field of protection, preservation and enhancement of the architectural and environmental heritage, the Mantua Regional Campus finds its natural and most important strategic research sector, with the direct involvement in teaching and in relationships with institutional, entrepreneurial and productive stakeholders of the Departments of:

  • Architecture, Construction Engineering and the Built Environment (A.B.C.);
  • Civil and Environmental Engineering (D.I.C.A.);
  • Architecture and Urban Studies (D.A.S.T.U.).

And via the laboratories operating on the Mantua Campus, services for industry and PhD programmes.
