The UNESCO RESEARCH LAB co-organizes in the WORKSHOP FOR DOCUMENTATION AND PROMOTION OF STONE BRIDGES OF GREECE (-SCANNER-) on the use of Geomatics for the knowledge and valorization of traditional stone bridges in the municipality of Pogoni, in the north of Greece.
We are selecting two students, interested in the topics of survey and preservation of Cultural Heritage, who want to take part in the workshop from June 16th to June 22nd, 2024, and then develop their master thesis on a topic related to this experience.
It will be an opportunity :
-To experience the use of instruments and technologies of Geomatics such as laser scanner, photogrammetry, UAV, SLAM;
-To collaborate and learn with students from other universities and different background;
-To discover an unknown part of Greece, its culture and tradition;
-To develop an original theme for your thesis.
Room and board will be provided by the municipality of Pogoni.
